Our Story

Appalachian Trauma and Resiliency Center was born out of a desire to make a difference in our community for those who serve us.
A simple conversation about dreams and supporting those who serve led to a non-profit organization providing training, counseling, advocacy and support in the areas of trauma, crisis intervention, and disaster mental health for frontline workers, first responders, military, survivors and those focused on providing supportive services to those populations.
